Who I am

I am originally from Belgium but I have spent most of my life abroad, living in 7 different countries spread out across Asia, Europe, and North America. These experiences have strongly shaped my personality and identity. I believe they have turned me into a down-to-earth, open-minded, and curious individual. These are characteristics and values I try to live by in my everyday life, as I seek to constantly learn new things and engage with new cultures or ways of thinking.

Hobbies

Several hobbies occupy my free time. The most important of which is sports, which helps me wind down and keep a healthy work-life balance. In May 2022, I embarked on a month-long journey during which I cycled from Spain to Croatia, covering a distance of over 2000 km in total. This was a truly transformative and life-changing experience, and it is without a doubt one of the achievements I am most proud of to this day.

Another activity that I always go back to is watching films. The world of cinema, and more generally video as a medium, has always been a subject of fascination. There is something about the intricate mix of storytelling and its technical aspects that deeply resonates with me, though I am still a bit uncomfortable with the idea of picking up a camera myself. I consider myself to a be pretty outgoing individual but sharing content online is a step outside of my comfort zone.
